The Postmodern Chronicles Of Hayley

I never left the 20th Century… Only my body.

Flow of Thought

Philosophy never fails to confuse me. Those who offer their philosophy to me, usually deliver it so promptly that I cannot even begin to comprehend what they mean. I have always felt that life does not need to be searched for a meaning. I believe that one gives their own life meaning by living it. The fact is we will never fully understand a correct philosophy as everyone’s perception differs. No two human beings are alike physically, mentally or emotionally, hence why we will never share exactly the same beliefs or outlooks on life. By obsessing over our purpose in life, we are simply wasting the time we are given to live it. In my eyes, the gift of life is the most precious gift of all. We are able to learn, grow and think for ourselves and that is what makes us individual. Conformity will never be completely successful in that manner, because no matter how hard we try humans will always possess that longing to break away and become our own person. Since I realized this, I have grown more than ever.

I totally agree with everything above! Just be careful not to mention religion…..some people get upset when you don’t think the same thing they do….

  2. Whether or not you like philosophy, you cannot deny that what you just described is essentially Existentialism. .

Humorous and ironic is Gabriel’s statement. I find myself agreeing.

Your flow of thought is enlightening.
