How many fucking times have we heard that people will like us if we be ourselves? Well, I’ve been myself for almost 18 years and people still find me an annoying piece of shit.

I think what they say is that YOU should only like people that “like you for who you are”, not that they will like you if you are yourself. I am pretty sure that Hitler was being himself all through WW2, doesn’t mean we have to like him. Or hate him, come to think of it.
